In House Clinics

Family Planning

pregnant_14You can discuss your family planning needs in this clinic. And can arrange appointments for implantable contraception (Implanon) and Coil (IUCD)

Immunisations for children

Routine immunisations of children is provided in this clinic.

Travel Immunisations

Our practice nurse provide information & immunisation before travelling. Please allow at least 6 weeks before traveling.

Flu Clinics

Flu Clinics are available from the end of September for anyone aged over 65 or for other patients on medical advice.

Minor Surgery

Minor Surgery procedures like removal of lumps and bumps, cryosurgery, skin tag removals. Please make an appointment with a doctor to discuss

Midwife

We work closely with midwifes in the area. We will pass your details to them and they will contact you to make any appointments.

Long Term Conditions

heart_and_scopeOur Nurses run clinics to help you to understand your condition, offer advice to achieve better control of symptoms and to review and monitor periodically. These include:
  • Asthma Diabetes
  • Chronic Heart Disease/Hypertension 
  • Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) 

Child Health Services

All children under 5 are seen regularly by the Health Visitor. We will pass your details.

Cervical Smear screening

Women are advised to have the screening done regularly.
  • 25-49 years olds- every three years

  • 49-65 years old- every five years

Chaperone service.

The surgery have trained chaperones at both sites.If at any time you would like a chaperone present, please advise the receptionist when booking or checking in.

 District Nurses

An excellent service is provided for our patients by the Community District Nurses. They visit patients in their homes at the request of the Doctor and provide general nursing care.  We also work in very close relationship with our Community Matron

In House Clinics

  • Acupuncture: referrals are made to D. Harbinson
  • Chiropractor: referrals are made to Dr. P. Petts
  • Physiotherapy: referrals are made to K. Barsbay

Non-NHS Examinations

NHS does not cover non-medical services such as insurance medicals, fitness to Undertake certain sporting activities, some travel vaccinations and medicals for HGV. We are happy to provide this service to all patients registered at the practice. There is however, a fee payable in accordance with British Medical Association guidelines. Please ask the reception for more details.
